Special Tour 2012: South Africa - Garcen Route

Total distance: Approx. 2000 Km, about 30% gravel.

This trip can be done in a 4 x 4 off road vehicle, too!

Day 1: Friday April 14th

Arrival in Cape Town, transfer to the hotel, relax and visit of the city.

Day 2

From Cape Town Harbour along the westcost downt to cape point, from there along False Bay to Gordons Bay, Hawston, to Stanford or Gansbaai.
About 250 km

Day 3

Gansbaai/Stanford to Cape Agulhas (the real Cape), Bredasdorp, De Hoop Nature Reserve on small roads to, Malgas, Askraal, Riversdale.
About 300 km

Day 4

Riversdale, Over the Langeberge and Outeniekwaberge Mountains to, Oudtshoorn.
About 300 km.

Day 5

Oudtshoorn to Calitzdorp, Calitzdorp, Seweweeksport and Rooinek Pass to Matjesfontein, then to Sutherland.
About 270 km

Day 6

Sutherland to the sederburg mountains stay over at Cederburg.
About 300 km

Day 7

Cederburg, Citrusdal, Ceres, Aquila Game resort.
About 250 km

Day 8

Game watching in the morning, then to the Tulbagh and the Wine Region.
About 150 km

Day 9: Sat April 21st

Relax in the morning. Afternoon ride to Cape Town, turn in of the bikes and flight home.
